Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at Equity Bank. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service, and promoting bank products and services that meet their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' financial needs and goals.
    • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure bank products and services are meeting their needs.
    • Recommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that align with clients' financial objectives.
  2. Delivering a Superior Client Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Behave in a manner that creates a welcoming and professional environment for clients.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management
    • Understand and adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Information Security requirements.
    • Complete periodic compliance training to ensure knowledge of changing regulations and policies.
  4. Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required to support the team and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous banking experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
