We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to lead our accounting team in our West Palm Beach office. This is an in-office position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

The Financial Manager will report directly to the Assistant Controller and be responsible for the daily financial management operations, including financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be engaged in monthly closing activities, maintaining strong financial controls, and preparing/reviewing GL reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset, and Mileage and Expense report functions.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting processes and prepare management reports for presentation to the board of directors.
  • Compile reports and information in connection with audits.
  • Plan, assign, and direct the work of Finance Accountants.
  • Maintain accounting and finance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and strong team building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work under time pressures, and exercise independent judgment.
  • PC proficiency using Microsoft Office and other Association software.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Associate Degree with equivalent work experience is required. A minimum of two to four years of accounting experience, including managerial skills, is also required.
