Job Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Anacostia, Washington D.C.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with students in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential services to help them thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students within the school environment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student success.
  • Accurately monitor and document student progress.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid D.C. state license or certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong ability to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines.
