Position Summary

The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in executing accounting and general ledger responsibilities while providing support for various corporate office functions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust accounting background, outstanding analytical capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and GL account reconciliations and reviews.
  • Ensure accurate documentation to support GL balances.
  • Analyze financial data to confirm accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
  • Supervise internal controls to guarantee proper procedures are established and followed.
  • Manage the accounts payable function.
  • Assist in the annual financial audit by preparing necessary documentation for external auditors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • A valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP is essential.
  • Must demonstrate high motivation and attention to detail.
  • Practical experience with accounting software is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and manage time effectively.
  • Capability to uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
