Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Neonatologist to become part of our esteemed medical group in Augusta, Georgia. Our facility is a comprehensive 812-bed acute-care institution that caters to a wide region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care in a 28-bed Level-III NICU and Normal Newborn Nursery, managing around 3000 deliveries annually with an average daily NICU census of 15.
  • This role involves one week per month of NICU attending duties, a flexible number of weeks for term nursery coverage, and 25% coverage during four holiday weeks.
  • Collaborate with a team of 4 Neonatologists and 5 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, ensuring 24/7 in-house NNP coverage and physician call from home.
  • Embrace a healthy, family-oriented workplace culture.
  • Enjoy flexible scheduling with ample off-service time, no administrative duties, and limited holiday coverage obligations.
  • No surgical, iNO, or therapeutic hypothermia patients will be managed (regional referral center is nearby).
