Job Title: Meat Cutter Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Specialist to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Meat Cutter Specialist, you will be responsible for cutting meat according to product specifications and time standards, ensuring top quality and quantity of product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards.
  • Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and any other meat to eliminate cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and remove bad meat when it is sticky, slick, or smells bad.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Follow local health department laws and regulations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Use administration forms to maintain an inventory of all meat products and determine production levels.
  • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures.
  • Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Perform duty roster tasks.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
