About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and reporting on the quality of our products in a manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing: Inspect, monitor, and analyze products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement systems to improve the efficiency and quality of products, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and direct the Material Review Board and Quality Clinic to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Communication: Develop and utilize reports to monitor supplier and in-house performance, participate in Daily Management and department meetings, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Documentation: Complete and update problem reports, document any problems, defects, or deviations from standard procedures, and ensure Standard Work documentation is updated in SharePoint.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Technician, or similar experience.
  • ASQ Certification, a plus.
  • Electronics assembly, a plus.
  • Proven track record of addressing quality issues with high visibility within a global organization.
  • Understanding of effective quality systems and methodologies and their impact on both the internal and external business environments.
