Job Summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Dickson City, PA area.

About the Position

As an Automotive Alignment Technician, you will use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' vehicles travel straight and true, reducing tire wear and improving overall vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure proper vehicle alignment
  • Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs
  • Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Possession of a state inspection license is preferred

Work Environment

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
