Job Summary

Empire Netting and Fence is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Sports Netting Installer to join our team. As a key member of our sports netting team, you will be responsible for leading a team of installers and ensuring the successful completion of netting installations at sports venues across the country.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and netting installation, with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for coaching and teaching the skills of the trade, following job plans and blueprints, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of installers with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Coach and teach the skills of the trade to team members
  • Follow job plans and blueprints to ensure successful installation
  • Install large diameter poles and hang cables and nets from poles
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to keep it in satisfactory working condition

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent required
  • US work authorization required
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL a plus
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday with weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as skid loaders and telescoping boom lifts
