Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer

Locations: Multiple

Duration: 12 months contract to hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our team at V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, database management, and software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and systems
  • Develop and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and tools
  • Provide expert-level support for cloud-based infrastructure and applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure or related fields
  • 4+ years experience working with databases, web applications, and micro-services
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Microservices, Kafka, Cassandra, and SQL Server
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting
  • 1 year of experience managing System Observability tools
  • Hands-on experience with GitActions for CI/CD automations
  • Knowledge of Linux architecture, security, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, troubleshooting, and production operations
  • Demonstrated skill in working in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated skill in working with multi-location global teams
  • Proven ability to think and contribute at the strategic level
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eCommerce, Fulfilment, or Retail Technology solutions
  • Demonstrated written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
