Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Engineer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As an SRE Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead production stability efforts by preventing production issues and improving production stability.
  • Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee system reliability and availability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, such as response times, error rates, and uptime, to align operational performance with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities, such as reducing manual effort, automating tasks/resolutions, or decreasing production incidents.
  • Develop and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems, and develop application dashboards.
  • Ensure near-zero downtime with monitoring and alerting, self-healing automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide reactive, break-fix support and communicate issue/resolution status to project teams and management.
  • Develop expertise in assigned application domains and interpret alerts from tools like SiteScope, Dynatrace, and ELK.
  • Be flexible for upskilling to new tech stacks and participate in hands-on development.
  • Provide regular, high-quality updates to stakeholders on work progress, including user stories and ITSM problems.

Requirements:

  • 5-6+ years of application development experience using modern technologies and architecture, including collaboration with technology teams.
  • 2+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Good understanding of at least one public cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and their practical use.
  • Strong experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Confluence.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with CLI tools, Bash, Linux, and Azure CLI.
  • Experience with technologies like Java, J2EE, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), RESTful interfaces, GIT, Gradle, Maven, NPM, Spring (Spring Batch and Spring Boot), CSS3, HTML4, and digital technologies like Microsoft Azure and Spring Boot.
