Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech - Cardiothoracic Specialist to join our team. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Stock and maintain adequate supplies for surgery, including instruments, sutures, and other medical equipment.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites, and providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
  • Track surgical supplies, ensuring accurate inventory and ordering as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures, maintaining a high level of clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Work effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and other members of the surgical team to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered Tennessee Surgical Tech state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
