Job Overview:

You will work on designing, maintaining, and executing test plans for complex quality assurance software products used by global pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.

The work is fast-paced, challenging, and provides excellent opportunities for growth within Software Test Engineering, including test automation or other technical functions.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review requirements specifications in an Agile SCRUM setting to provide timely and meaningful feedback on product features and effectiveness.
  2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  3. Test estimating, prioritizing, planning, coordinating testing activities, flagging test cases for automation, running test automation, and maintaining the automated test scripts.
  4. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  5. Work closely with other Test team members and client-facing professional services function.
  6. Self-manage your workload and mentor more junior team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required with 3-5 years' experience required in a similar software test engineering role, preferably in an environment with strict governmental oversight or compliance requirements.

Strong Manual testing background with distributed architecture.

Experience with test automation; at a minimum running pre-written scripts, analyzing results, debugging, and maintaining the scripts.

Experience with Test Management tools; JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, Testlink, etc.

1+ years' experience writing code and ability to read Java.

Experience testing RESTful Web-Services and ability to create/edit JSON, SOAP services, and XML documents.

Experience with AGILE Scrum SDLC and testing documentation.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
