JOB SUMMARY

POSITION OVERVIEW

Gurwin Healthcare System is dedicated to delivering exceptional care across a comprehensive range of services. We are seeking a full-time Lead Housekeeper who will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our community.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Housekeeper will oversee the cleanliness of the community and its residences, ensuring that all areas are orderly, sanitized, and meet the established standards. This position involves:

  • Leading the housekeeping team and providing training and support as necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the community.
  • Coordinating cleaning schedules and assigning tasks to staff members.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a collaborative environment.
  • Performing general housekeeping duties in all community spaces, including residential units and common areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed by the community.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The role requires working in a clean, well-lit environment with varying levels of activity. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting, and using housekeeping equipment.
