Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for completing end-of-day activities, processing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts and running night audit backup
  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
  • Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • Print contingency lists to maintain a record of all guests in case of emergency
  • Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and process requests for wake-up calls
  • Complete the Room Rate Variance Report
  • Process all guest check-ins and assign rooms
  • Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machines
  • Count and secure bank at end of shift
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all materials prior to use
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification required
