Job Summary

As a Night Auditor at Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can work independently to complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency.
  • Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station, process requests for wake-up calls, and advise guests of any messages.
  • Complete the Room Rate Variance Report.
  • Process all guest check-ins and assign rooms.
  • Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machines.
  • Count bank at end of shift and secure bank.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all materials prior to use.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Less than 1-year related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification required.
