Job Summary:

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to nursing staff, ensuring continuity among nursing teams, and managing the day-to-day clinical pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity among nursing teams.
  • Manage the recruitment, payroll, and performance process for all staff under your direct supervision.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of medications, in accordance with physician orders, and document all administered dosages.
  • Maintain absolute accuracy in daily accounting of medications supplied to patients and maintained in inventory.
  • Implement or oversee the implementation of infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and policies regarding controlled substance regulations and confidentiality.
  • Track or oversee tracking of all medical paperwork involving patient dose changes, lab results, physician orders, phase/level changes, and verbal orders.
  • Place or oversee the placing of orders for medication supplies and ensure sufficient scheduling coverage for order placing.
  • Promote the delivery of quality care to patients by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, and complying with applicable rules and Company policies.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is opened and closed in accordance with policy, staffing protocols are followed, and the nursing schedule is established.
  • Document patient care services by utilizing best charting practices and overseeing the ensuring the integrity of all other medical chartings.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the administration of tests ordered by the physician, including lab tests, patient vital signs, TB tests, and blood and urine laboratory testing.
  • Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Medical Director and assist the Medical Director with History and Physical assistance, as needed.
  • Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings, always acting in the best interest of the program and the company.
Requirements:
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which work is being performed.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field.
  • Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory, medications, their proper dosage, effects, and contraindications, and opiate addiction.
  • Ability to organize assigned work, make verbal/written reports and documentation, prepare and maintain reports of shift activities and individual progress, and maintain nursing records and charts.
  • Ability to supervise and manage the day-to-day clinical pharmacy operations of the LPN staff and compose and execute the nursing schedule for the clinic.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
