Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician will play a vital role in our residential program, ensuring the safety and security of residents while facilitating their social recovery and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the safety and security of residents within the designated home
  • Conduct perimeter checks and hourly counts to ensure resident safety
  • Participate in social recovery events such as AA/NA meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of shift log notes, bed checks, and report data
  • Facilitate adult life classes and provide support to residents
  • Report situations of concern to the on-call supervisor or emergency personnel when needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • One year of experience in a related field or security task (accepted in lieu of diploma)
  • Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder, or experience working with individuals with these conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient understanding of basic office applications and computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and effective communicator
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
