Overview

Southern Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Intermediate Care Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for patients.

Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of care in the ICU.

Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.

Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.

Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
