The Nursing Program Director at Navajo Technical University is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing program that meets accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Create and revise curriculum to meet accreditation standards.
- Manage budgets and financial resources to achieve financial objectives.
- Determine equipment needs for laboratory and classroom settings.
- Lead program oversight, curriculum maintenance, and assessment activities.
- Coordinate course offerings and provide advisement services to students.
- Maintain relationships with local clinical sites and oversee student scheduling.
- Promote student recruitment and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- 5 years' work experience in nursing administration.
- Current RN License in New Mexico or a compact state.
- CPR Certification by the American Heart Association.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
