As a Scheduler II - Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care between physician offices, patients, and various hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care between physician offices, patients, and hospital departments
  • Provide exceptional customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Utilize computer skills to multitask between hospital system applications
  • Maintain high accuracy levels and meet department productivity requirements
  • Review charts for accuracy in scheduling advanced appointment types
Requirements
  • High School Completion equivalent or higher
  • Basic Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to follow directions and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • A.D. in Business or health-related field
  • Infusion scheduling experience for Oncology or Oncology coding and billing
  • Office assistant or clerical experience
  • Epic/EMR experience
