We are seeking a dynamic and team-focused Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Trauma Acute Care Surgery/Burn Services division at Banner University Medical Center Tucson.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment, managing trauma and acute general surgery patients with exceptional patient care and empathy. Our advanced providers are continually learning, adapting, and detail-oriented in their clinical management of patients, performing therapeutic/diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage trauma and acute general surgery patients
  • Perform therapeutic/diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, and prescription of medications
  • Participate in education, consultation, and research activities

Requirements:

  • Current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification
  • TNCC or ATLS certification preferred
  • Experienced PA or ACNP with surgical patient care or EMS experience a plus
