Job Description

At Spire Orthopedic Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services, including evaluations and treatment, in accordance with state laws and professional code of ethics.
  • Design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, and patient-related instruction.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation, including initial evaluations, SOAP notes, and flow sheets.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner, consistent with all laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate billing practices and assist the front desk in maintaining authorizations.
  • Practice in a safe manner, minimizing risk to patients, self, and others.
  • Update clinical skills through continuing education programs, professional contacts, journal articles, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Assist and participate in in-service presentations after attending continuing education courses or as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and provide care and maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Adhere to proper work schedule and do not have excessive tardiness or absenteeism.
  • Comply with dress code policy, wearing logo shirt or business casual attire.
  • Report problems or issues to the Physical Therapy Director.
Qualifications

We are seeking a Physical Therapist with the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited DPT program.
  • New graduates welcome.
  • Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility to become licensed in CT (NY if ONS Harrison).
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
