Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating suite with sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the surgeon with instruments and supplies during surgery.
  • Help prepare, transport, position, and drape patients.
  • Monitor and track instrument counts throughout procedures.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Surgical Tech certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree.
