Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and solutions, as well as sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
