About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing efficient and effective software using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.

You will enhance and maintain on-premises and internal PaaS applications while actively reworking these to AWS according to project timelines. You will also assist in the design and implementation of serverless patterns from containerized applications.

Beyond these responsibilities, you will build industry-standard APIs and assist with establishing, consuming, and routing calls, as well as determining connectivity protocols and policies.

In addition, you will design, develop, and implement architectural patterns that are optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost. This includes looking upstream and downstream to anticipate future consequences of immediate technical choices.

You will help establish and grow a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including TDD/BDD and Test Automation (both Unit and Integration), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.

Furthermore, you will drive performance improvements, including monitoring, detailed metrics, trends, and costs to determine solutions and necessary process changes that enhance efficiency.

Finally, you will actively engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, with the aim of continuous improvement.

About the Requirements:
  • Experience in Java, Full Stack, or Python development.
  • Experience working with GitHub and GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in writing and designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in virtualizing services for test automation using tools such as WireMock, Mockito, etc.
  • An automation mindset with hands-on experience in designing and writing automated tests for backend applications and data flow, using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, and Ready API.
  • Hands-on experience working with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Circle CI.
  • Broad hands-on experience with AWS Cloud serverless components and the ability to build and maintain cloud data processing systems (e.g., ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Sage Maker, Athena, etc.).
  • Experience using relational and object databases, as well as web service development standards and practices, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using workload management tools like VersionOne or Agility.
  • Experience with system integrations, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, ensuring smooth and timely transmission of critical information.
  • Flexibility to embrace challenges that are outside of your comfort zone.
