About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and body part
  • Demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
  • Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner
  • Complete all forms and maintain records, visit logs, and reports of work performed
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment and systems
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
  • Limited Scope X-ray Operator - in accordance with State-specific requirements
  • State x-ray license (if applicable)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
