Job Summary:

As an Activity Coordinator for Elder Care at Fairmount Homes, you will play a vital role in delivering life enrichment activities designed to bring love and happiness to our residents. This part-time position requires a sincere interest in working with older, disabled, and handicapped adults, as well as an understanding of their physical, mental, and psycho-social needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a tactful, courteous, patient, pleasant, and cheerful demeanor when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
  • Support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes, upholding the highest standards of care and compassion.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid PA Driver's License preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults is preferred.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of $17.35-$18.70, with an additional $1.25 per hour for weekend work.
