Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in a pediatric service(s)/department(s) at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and respect by reporting concerns and participating in incident reporting and root cause analysis.
Requirements
  • Current California RN License.
  • Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
  • Minimum of 1 or more years of acute care experience in a pediatric service(s)/department(s).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit or emergency department.
Work Environment

This role is typically performed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.

Compensation

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $185,286.40 to $213,730.40
