Paramedic Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, and working collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care according to competencies and protocols
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, driving a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions
- Interact respectfully with multiple outside agencies, including police departments, fire departments, and first responder organizations
- Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports, billing information, and all other associated documentation
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness, completing daily vehicle and supply checklists
- High school diploma
- Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Texas
- CPR certification
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
- Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently
- Customer service skills
This ambulance position can work a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hours shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts. We can usually accommodate a set school schedule, so if you have classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we could put you on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday schedule.
