Position Overview:

We are seeking a CDL Trailer Operator to join our team. This role involves operating within a structured schedule that includes shifts from early morning to late evening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently maneuver trailers across the lot during loading operations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Assess and manage the relocation of empty trailers as needed.
  • Ensure proper storage of unused trailers.
  • Maintain an organized system for customer pick-up trailers at the docks.
  • Keep accurate records of trailers moved to and from the docks.
  • Ensure all trailers are secured with chocks when stationed at the docks.
  • Report any issues or damages encountered during operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in a related field is required.
  • Ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Forklift certification is mandatory.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
  • CDL Class A license is required for transporting products on public roads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse, stocking, or forklift operations is advantageous.
  • CDL Permit is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is a plus.
