Automation Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Hoover Energy Services is a leading provider of innovative energy solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented Automation Systems Engineer to help us expand our operations and improve our energy efficiency. As an Automation Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated systems using PLCs, HMIs, and other technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and configuration files
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues and customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in automation systems engineering
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMIs, and other automation technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
