Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Current certification in radiologic technology
  • Experience with imaging equipment and patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care and service
Work Environment

Providence Saint Patrick Hospital is a short-term acute care facility with 209 total staff beds. We are a teaching hospital with a scrub color policy of all RN/allied: any color. Charting is done using Epic, and parking is free.

Schedule

This position requires a 7 on 7 off schedule with every other weekend. Float between units is not required, and on-call is not required. However, you will be required to work 7 days in a row and then have 7 days off.
