This part-time, non-benefited position is open to UND students who are looking for a unique opportunity to gain experience in a museum setting.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and engage Museum visitors, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Ensure the security of artwork and visitors, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce museum rules and regulations, promoting a respectful and responsible atmosphere.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing and completing them efficiently.
- Represent the Museum positively, embodying its values and mission.
- Stay informed about Museum activities, events, and exhibitions, staying up-to-date on the latest developments.
- Work well under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced situations.
- Utilize good organization skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Employ excellent communication skills, interacting with visitors, staff, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the Museum in a positive and respectful light.
- Acceptance of a Federal Work Study award.
- Passing a criminal history background check.
- Enrollment in at least 6 credits.
