Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our EP Lab team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Provide care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Participate in generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
- Pass yearly Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Graduate from one of the following Accredited Education Programs: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Radiology Technology (RTR), Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT), Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P), Cardiovascular Tech (CVT), or Vascular Intervention (VI).
- RN with one (1) year of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cath/EP Lab, or Special Procedures experience. OR acute care hospital experience EMT-P with two (2) years of experience; required.
- RTR, RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVT, or VI with one (1) year of experience; preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) - North Carolina Board of Nursing License, Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR) - ARRT Radiology, Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) credentialing/accreditation, and/or Paramedic associate degree from an appropriately recognized Paramedic program, or Technologist Registry, Respiratory Therapist-licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) AND Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as RRT, or Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Cardiovascular Tech, and Vascular Intervention-graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
- Pass yearly Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
