Outstanding Opportunity for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist

Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatrician to work in the ER alongside a PEMs physician. The ideal candidate will have recent hospital cases and be able to utilize their training to see a range of disease processes.

The ER is a busy unit with a volume of around 50k, and the team is dedicated to providing excellent care to patients. The coverage in the unit is more than adequate, and the subspecialty support includes Neurosurgery, GI, Neuro, ID, Ortho, Neo, ICU, CVICU, Hospitalists, Cardiology, and Heme Onc.

The full-time position is 12 shifts per month, but the hospital will consider a 0.75 FTE and still provide benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, Matching 401k, EAP, CME, and more.

The Associate Medical Director owns the schedule and is also the Vice Chair of Peds, and the Residency and Fellowship Directors are engaged and awesome. The hospital is a great place to work, with a dedicated group that watches out for and helps each other.

Qualifications

BC/BE Pediatrician

To be eligible for this position, you need recent hospital cases, ie right out of residency or currently working as a Pediatrician in an ER.
