Job Overview

DAC, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Expert to join our team.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience and location.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our building automation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, building automation systems, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the setup and configuration of PC workstations, user interfaces, data servers, IP Networking devices, protocols, routers, switches, mass storage devices, and hubs.
  • Develop and implement custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning, and execution.
  • Perform operational testing or troubleshooting of Sequences of Operation, Verification and Acceptance: Runs reports to analyze system operation, works with customers to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the Service Contract/Project scope of work.
  • Provide technical support to end users and mentor junior team members when applicable.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting building automation controls systems.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Proven experience in the integration of various industry protocols, such as BACnet, N2, Modbus, Siemens P1/P2 protocols etc.
