Head Teller

At First Hawaiian Bank, we're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Head Teller to join our Kapiolani branch team. As a key member of our branch operations, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting bank products and services.

• Provide top-notch customer service and support to customers
• Process customer transactions and maintain accurate records
• Assist in supervising Branch Tellers and branch operations
• Promote and refer bank products and services to customers

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller or 2 years' experience as an FHB Teller with cross-training in supervisor duties
• Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred
• Pleasant and tactful communication skills
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Basic mathematical calculations and cash balancing skills
• Sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with standard branch operations concepts and practices
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
