Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides rehabilitation and retraining services to patients in their homes, focusing on fine motor skills and daily living activities. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in various client facility settings.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' current level of functioning and establish goals for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and mobility.
  • Provide patient care in a non-judgmental and culturally sensitive manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school accredited by the Council of Medical Education and/or the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Current, unrestricted license in the state of practice, if regulated.
  • At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical setting.
  • CPR certification and adherence to client facility policies and procedures.
