Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist with patient care, including obtaining clinical history and assessing for contraindicating conditions.
  • Follow established procedures for administering contrast media and ensuring patient safety.
  • Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients.
  • Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality control measures to ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Restock linens and supplies, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
