Job Summary:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Traveling Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team at a reputable hospital in the Atlanta, GA metroplex. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate positioning of the breast to optimize imaging of tissue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing all general and advanced level breast imaging procedures and providing support for other Radiologic Technologists as needed.
  • Setting up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when necessary.
  • Selecting the proper imaging devices, providing proper shielding for patients and assisting personnel, and setting the machine to obtain optimal images.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiology.
  • ARRT or ARRT(M) certification.
  • CPR & BLS certification.
  • Mammography certification.
