Your expertise will be crucial in designing and refining processes, as well as developing and evaluating the integration, testing, and maintenance of security systems.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with internal teams to enhance the organization's security posture for cloud-based services.
  • Working alongside architects and engineers to establish secure and resilient cloud processes that protect business applications across various deployment models.
  • Facilitating the adoption of automated security posture management and platform protection strategies.
  • Providing technical and policy guidance to teams onboarding applications into the cloud environment, ensuring adherence to privacy and security standards.
  • Participating in vendor capability assessments and proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Staying informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices to apply relevant knowledge across the organization.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to define an effective operational model.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud service platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proven experience in managing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) security, including:
    • Implementation and management of SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
    • Securing SaaS applications like Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
    • Working with APIs, including SOAP and REST, and proficiency in JSON.
    • Defining and managing compliance settings for SaaS applications in line with industry standards.
  • Experience in integrating with existing security tools.
  • Ability to create and maintain security policies for cloud platforms.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, actively participating in Agile processes.
  • Systems thinking ability to address complex challenges with a strategic approach.
