About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to work in a multidisciplinary setting, providing comprehensive care to patients with orthopedic spine and pain management needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

As an Orthopedic Spine Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. You will also have the opportunity to perform minor procedures related to pain management, such as joint injections and nerve blocks, under supervision as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions related to the spine, pain management, or neurological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and pain management specialists, to provide holistic care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, or a related specialty.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in ortho spine, pain management, or neurology.
  • Experience in performing minor procedures related to pain management is a plus.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
