Position Overview:
We are in search of an Experienced Lifestyle and Interiors Photographer to become an integral part of our in-house production team. This role will primarily support the Marketing department by producing high-quality imagery that aligns with our brand's elevated aesthetic. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in lighting, composition, art direction, and talent direction, showcasing a proven track record in both interior and lifestyle photography.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of creating interior, lifestyle, and product photography for various marketing and e-commerce initiatives on a regular basis.
2. Collaborate closely with art directors and creative leaders to grasp campaign goals, creative vision, and stakeholder requirements. Develop concepts and mood boards to steer the visual direction of each project.
3. Exhibit strong photographic techniques and a creative aesthetic to ensure all images uphold brand integrity and quality standards.
4. Present visual concepts to stakeholders, partners, and external agencies.
5. Work alongside the production team to identify suitable locations for photo shoots, conducting location scouts to evaluate lighting, layout, and potential challenges.
6. Create detailed shot lists and shooting schedules; collaborate with video production teams to ensure cohesive photo/video synergy.
7. Oversee the maintenance and operation of photography equipment, ensuring all gear is calibrated and ready for use.
8. Lead editing sessions with partners and stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition to the post-production team.
9. Establish and uphold brand photography standards encompassing style, quality, lighting, depth, composition, storytelling, and capture workflows.
10. Stay informed about emerging trends and techniques in photography, interior design, and lifestyle branding.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 7+ years of editorial-level photography experience, either in-house or at a creative agency.
- Proven experience in architecture, interiors, and lifestyle photography, along with conceptual still-life, portrait, and documentary photography.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs.
- Capability to manage multiple photography projects simultaneously while effectively coordinating with stakeholders, stylists, talent, and crew.
- Willingness to travel for shoots, both domestically and internationally.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates the ability to capture the essence of interior spaces, candid lifestyle moments, and intricate product details.
- A discerning eye for aesthetics and design, along with experience in pre-visualization and lighting diagrams.
- Expert proficiency in CaptureOne, Adobe Photoshop, and photography lighting.
- Familiarity with G Suite and Adobe Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in project management and knowledge of Asana.
Compensation:
$95,000 - $110,000 per year base salary, with an annual bonus based on role level and employer matching for company-sponsored 401K plans.
