We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Support Specialist to join our team at Imaging Associates Of Alaska.



As a Radiology Support Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling diagnostic procedures, registering patients, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and physicians.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Patient Scheduling: Accurately schedule all diagnostic procedures performed at our practice, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
  • Patient Registration: Register patients calling to schedule diagnostic procedures, collecting necessary information and performing essential registration functions.
  • Communications: Answer all incoming calls with a professional tone, providing clear and concise information to patients and referring offices.
  • Customer Service/Reception: Greet patients with a smile, treat each with respect and compassion, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills in all interactions with physicians, patients, and practice personnel.


Requirements:




  • 1+ years experience in a specialty medical practice preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Experience with medical pre-authorizations preferred.
  • Experience with multi-line telephone system, personal computers, and other common office equipment required.
  • Regular attendance is an absolute requirement of this position.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
