Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, program, and operate various cutting machines including routers, waterjets, plasma cutting tables, and laser cutting tables.
  • Determine appropriate materials for cutting tasks.
  • Interpret and follow engineering blueprints to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for accurate part fabrication.
  • Conduct inspections of finished products to verify precision and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work efficiently and safely to meet production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with engineering schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (50 lbs or more).
  • Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop is preferred.
