Job Description

We are seeking a talented Communications and Grants Associate to join our team at PathForward. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies, writing compelling grant applications, and creating engaging content to drive fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop Communication Strategies: Work with the Director of Development to develop and implement an annual communications plan and calendar.
  2. Maintain Brand Identity: Ensure all programs, services, and organizational offerings conform to brand identity.
  3. Implement Marketing and Fundraising Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness, increase visibility, and support fundraising and volunteer engagement goals.
  4. Create Content: Create, distribute, and manage digital and print communications tools, including social media, email marketing, and event promotion.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field, or equivalent experience in the field required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in communications and fundraising/grant writing, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience with grant writing and fundraising content development preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Constant Contact, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Publisher, Hootsuite, or WordPress.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
