Job Summary:

WestGate Church is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Kids Club Administrator. This role will be responsible for overseeing the behind-the-scenes operations of the Kids Club Program, ensuring its smooth execution and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategies for program growth, including recruitment and training of volunteers.
  • Volunteer Management: Supervise and coordinate volunteer teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to execute their tasks effectively.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of families assisted by the Kids Club Program.
  • Communication: Handle ministry needs, including creating and disseminating promotional materials, forms, and announcements.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events such as Leader Training, special events for Kids Club children, and outreach events targeting parents and the community.
  • Leadership Development: Assist the Kids Club Director in recruiting and training new volunteers, and develop effective recruitment and training strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Children's Outreach and other ministry teams to ensure seamless execution of programs and events.

  • Professional Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or over two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Maintains a high level of confidentiality, handling situations with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
    • Exhibits personal and professional discernment and discretion.
    • Superior communication skills: written and verbal.

Working Conditions:

  • Operate in a professional office or church environment with standard equipment.
  • Lead in settings with various equipment, cables, stage lights, loud sounds, and visual stimuli.
  • Work typically occurs Sunday-Thursday, with occasional Fridays, Saturdays, or evenings as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Perform walking, bending, twisting, and kneeling.
  • Navigate stairs.
  • Demonstrate finger and hand dexterity for computer, instrument, and tool operation.
  • Possess specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
