Position Overview

The Financial Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Engine Maintenance division. This position is integral to the Client Material Services, which is responsible for procuring components utilized by the engine maintenance team to construct and sustain engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Controllership Team to ensure accurate financial oversight.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to Reservations and Customer Care metrics, emphasizing operational efficiency.
  • Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports that elucidate variances in performance metrics and offer strategic recommendations to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Streamline and automate reporting processes through advanced data manipulation and SQL programming, utilizing tools such as SAS and data visualization software.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analyses to support leadership initiatives and monitor performance goals across various business lines.
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information and adhere to strict deadlines across multiple projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in SAP and HANA, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong technical background in data analysis, including experience with SQL and report development tools such as SAS, Tableau, or Hyperion.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Educational Background

A degree in Data Analytics or Finance is preferred, although not mandatory.

Interview Process

The selection process will include a virtual interview, followed by a practical Excel assessment.
