- Knowledge of PLC Logic and Controls: A fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls is required.
- Strong Organizational and Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills are required to manage the maintenance team and ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently with limited supervision is required.
- Ability to Multi-Task: The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks is required.
- Strong Problem-Solving and Conflict Management Skills: Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills are required to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering: A bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Experience in Automotive Industry: Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in body shop, stamping, paint, and subassembly, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Knowledge of Constraint Management Principles: Knowledge of constraint management principles is preferred.
- Safety and Quality Experience: Experience in safety and quality is preferred.
- Microsoft Office Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
- Prior Experience Managing a Unionized Workforce: Prior experience managing a unionized workforce is preferred.
